The following outline will help guide you through the admissions process and help you discover all that PJPII has to offer your family!
Admission Procedure
1. Getting to Know Us! Sign up for a Shadow Day! Your student will have the opportunity to experience a day as a PJPII student. To learn more, contact Ms. Yamili Cano ycano@pjpiischool.org or 847-228-9179.
What is a Shadow Day?
During a Shadow Day, prospective students would follow a current student during the school day to learn about school academics, clubs, and extracurricular activities from those who actually participate in them.
Who can attend a Shadow Day?
Prospective student from preschool (3 years old) to 2nd grade can attend alongside a parent for 15 minutes. Prospective students in 3rd to 8th grade can attend half or full day, drop off at 7:45 a.m., pick up at 2:55 pm.
Is there a cost for the shadow day?
There is no cost for having your student participate in a shadow day. This is an opportunity for the prospective student to experience a day at Pope John Paul II with teachers and other students. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to students that stay the full day.
How do I sign up my child for a shadow day?

2. Apply for Admission

Once you have decided that PJPII is the right choice for you and your child, fill out the Application here

To complete the application, the following must be submitted:

Individual Education Plan (IEP, 504, etc. if applicable)

In accordance with state law, families must follow these enrollment guidelines:

To enter Kindergarten, the student must be 5 years old by 9/1/2023

To enter Preschool, the student must be 3 or 4 years old by 9/1/2023

3. Complete Grant & Aid Application
Once the student is accepted, you will set up your FACTS account and complete the Grant & Aid application. Approximately 90% of our students receive some form of financial assistance.
4. Finalize Enrollment
The time has come to complete the entire registration process! We will guide you through the process of registering and completing the needed paperwork!
