Principals collaborate with the Archdiocese on personnel issues as all staff are Archdiocesan employees. Robert Bassett handles policy questions. Big Shoulders assists in Principal evaluations and relevant personnel matters.
Financial operations
Principals and Business Managers collaborate with Big Shoulders on budget approvals, forecasts, and large expenditures. Schools handle day-to-day financial tasks like collections and bookkeeping, with the Principal overseeing the school's financial outcomes.

Principals collaborate with the Archdiocese following their protocols. School projects involve approval from the Archdiocese and Big Shoulders, with life-safety projects funded equally by both parties.
Scholarships
Big Shoulders Fund has been providing scholarships to deserving students since 1987. They provide more than 60 different types of scholarships that vary in duration and amount awarded — it all depends on the scholarship.
