The following outline will guide you through the admissions process and help you discover all that PJPII has to offer your family!

Shadow Day

Getting to Know Us! Sign up for a Shadow Day! ​Your student will have the opportunity to experience a day as a PJPII student. To learn more, call 773-523-6161 or fill out this inquiry form.

What is a Shadow Day?

During a Shadow Day, prospective students would follow a current student during the school day to learn about school academics, clubs, and extracurricular activities from those who actually participate in them.

 

Who can attend a Shadow Day?

Prospective student from preschool (3 years old) to 2nd grade can attend alongside a parent for 15 minutes. Prospective students in 3rd to 8th grade can attend half or full day, drop off at 7:45 a.m., pick up is at 2:55 pm.

 

Is there a cost for the shadow day?

There is no cost for having your student participate in a shadow day. This is an opportunity for the prospective student to experience a day at Pope John Paul II with teachers and other students. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to students that stay the full day.

Application Process

Apply for Admission

  • Complete this Enrollment Application here

  • Submit the following items:

    • Individual Education Plan (IEP, 504, etc. if applicable)

    • Most recent report card

  • In accordance with state law, families must follow these enrollment guidelines:

    • To enter Kindergarten, the student must be 5 years old by 9/1/2023

    • To enter Preschool, the student must be 3 or 4 years old by 9/1/2023

  • Preschool children must be fully toilet trained​
