Lauriana Calabrese won "Best of Breed" for her drawing of a Bichon Frise in the American Kennel Club's first MEET THE BREEDS ART CONTEST. Students from the New England area, as well as NY and NJ competed as if it were a dog show. Lauriana's art work will be on display on October 17 & 18 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. She was awarded tickets to the event and a rosette. Carolyn Martin and Sara Pupowska were also awarded tickets for their entries, which were judged over the summer in the 3rd Grade division.
